At Università degli Studi Roma Tre, researchers, industry leaders, and investors gathered for a full day dedicated to Flagship Project 7 of Rome Technopole.
The project is coordinated by our CTO Giuseppe Roscilli alongside Augusto Giardini from Novo Nordisk, with support from partner universities and the SpinOut! Team from Zest.
The event showcased how research and industry can work together to turn scientific discoveries into real-world applications.
International scientific leaders opened the day with keynote speeches, setting the stage for innovation and collaboration.
During the SpinOut! session, four projects with strong entrepreneurial potential presented their progress, showing how years of research shaped new ventures.
Later, a roundtable moderated by Massimo Scaccabarozzi tackled the challenges and opportunities in transferring biotech innovations from the lab to the market.
Companies from the pharmaceutical and biotech sectors also joined to share career paths during an employer branding session, offering young researchers a view beyond academia.
Throughout the day, FP7 researchers presented their latest work, underlining the practical impact of their studies.
For us at Takis, being part of this event meant supporting the connection between research and industry and helping turn scientific results into innovations that make a real difference in the market and society.
